Hi, we are currently running a MMS-service in Norway. Here all operators offer MT-billing on MMS. How is this in the UK? We are planning to launch our service to the UK-market this spring. We've been in talk with Netsize in order to use a broker and ease the conneciton-difficulties with the operators. Do you have any other suggestion that might be better than Netsize? thanks, thomas | |||

Thomas, I haven't seen any MT-billing on MMS yet in the UK. At least not anything generally available (I have seen some trials that appeared to be limited to particular operators). The MMS settings on Vodafone and O2 are open to external MMSCs, so for those networks you can deliver MMS using premium rate SMS as the MMS notification. However, Orange and T-Mobile in the UK are closed to external MMSCs. -bn | |||

Thomas, MT billing on MMS isn't quite there in the UK. We currently bill MT across all UK networks for MMS but, as Bryce noted, this is done through seperate delivery of a premium rate SMS.
