We currently have 6 license for sms lite and we setup 4 ATT android phones and 2 Verizon, verizon does not have an option to find operator settings. I tried setting it to http://mms.vtext.com/servlets/mms like you had in your tutorial but i am getting an http 504 error which means gateway timeout but sending txt messages works fine.

Any advice please?

The exact error that it is giving is:

Retry Pending - MM1 - got unknown response - HTTP Status: 504 Gateway Timeout, TESTAD24

I have confirmed 3 times now, the same setup works with 2 other verizon phones and the same setup on this nowsms install, it has to be an issue with this phone and install, but all these phones were bought brand new and setup the same way, nothing was ever done or changed on any of them.

Hi Robert,

Have you confirmed that the device can successfully send MMS using the built in Messages client?

If the default settings cannot be found, this is normal with older Android versions. The manual setting URL you have is correct, and it should work, as long as the built in Messages client also works.

Is the device a different Android version from the working devices?

Enable MMSCDEBUG.LOG And try sending another message...that log might give us a clue.

Yes it is working fine and the log file is saying that it is getting sent fine, After reviewing and testing much more it seems that some of our numbers are being black listed from other carriers for the texts being sent...

Has this ever happened?

I've only seen situations where there seemed to be a temporary blockage. Suspicion that a spam filter was triggered at an interconnection point, but hard to determine why, as it mysteriously cleared later.
