Hi,

I've just setup Now SMS/MMS Lite, and i'm able to send/receive SMS just fine.
I'm also able to send MMS, but not receive them.

I've checked the "Receive MMS Messages" checkbox, and the MMS operator settings are testing OK.

Anyone knows what could be the issue?

Thanks in advance,

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

I assume this is a USB or serial modem device...not an Android phone, correct?

Is the SMS received counter increasing?

If it is, look at the SMSIN-yyyymmdd.Log. If a text SMS is received,, MMS is not fully provisioned for the account on the operator side. If binary SMS is received, enable the SMSDEBUG.LOG, so that we can review it.

If no SMS is received (normally a binary SMS called the MMS notification), then something else is up. We have observed that some operators detect modem devices and do not send MMS notifications to these devices because they assume the device cannot support it. We have observed this on T-Mobile US and suspect a few others. This is why we developed the Android app, which is also more efficient at processing MMS.

What operator network are you using?

Hi Des,

Yes it's an LTE modem setup using a COM port redirector.

The SMS recevied counter only increments when i receive an actual SMS, and there are only the SMS messages i received in the SMSIN log.

The operator network is 3/(three) in Denmark.

Are there any settings i can try modifying, or is the fault at the operator?

Thanks for the help :)
