Hi I've got some problem sending smil inside MMS from my application to Sharp and Panasonic. All work fine with Nokia 7210 and 7650. Maybe the problem was into the missing profile of these phones. May you help me? | |||

I'm not aware of any problems with the Sharp phones, but I have seen problems with the Panasonic GD87. We've been working with a test engineer at Panasonic to try to determine what the characteristic of a message with a SMIL file is that makes it work or not work. As soon as we know anything more about the GD87 issue, we'll post it here. -bn | |||

What's your operator? Here is a page from Vodafone New Zealand ... http://www.vodafone.co.nz/vlive/vlive_configure_sharpgx10.jsp This would walk you through the menus, but you would need the configuration settings specific to the operator. | |||

... And just to follow-up on the original thread. The problem with the Panasonic GD87 had nothing to do with SMIL. It was addressed in v4.20 of the Now SMS/MMS Gateway. | |||
