Hi We have installed NowSMS using "Administrator rights". However, it is observed that the NowSMS folder is created with FullControl access permission to "Users" and "EveryOne". This has raised an audit objection. Can we restrict these? I have attached the screen shots for your reference. Mathew   | |||

Hi Mathew, It is ok to change those rights. However, I will need to do some investigation to better understand what conditions cause the folder rights to be modified. The underlying issue is a recurring support problem we have faced where the operating system creates shadow copies of configuration files, causing the UI configuration changes to not be visible to the running service. In retrospect, a better way to address this would have been to require admin rights for access to the configuration UI. — Des NowSMS Support | |||
