Hi Team, We tested a normal message including the \n in the text SMSC received - \n in the PDU Now we sent a message using multi-part text >160 characters SMSC have received \x1b (escape) character into multipart PDU before the \n. Due to this while converting request into json format it added \ begin of any special character. Is this is an normal behaviour of adding escape sequence before the special characters in case of multi part message? | |||

Hi, No, that is not normal behaviour. And in my tests, I do not see any \x1b (escape) characters. What protocol is being used for NowSMS to communicate with the SMSC? I am assuming SMPP ... which is what I tested. Can you provide a trace of the communication between NowSMS and this SMSC which shows this escape character being present?
