Hello We need to connect with SSL SMPP to a provideur and need to add his certificate and i can't find a way to do that. I've read in documentation that in this case (NowSMS in the client) there is no need for a certifiacte but the connection fails with just adding "use ssl" Thanks for your help | |||

Hi Jean-Michel, Is this Windows or Linux? What is the full text of the error? Is the certificate that you want to add a client certificate or a public certificate to help identify the service provider? Regards, Des NowSMS Support | |||

Hello Des, it's a Windows version but we also have a Linux version if it helps. There is no error, it's just that the provider give us a certificate to add in our system to connect to his serveur and i don't see any place to add this certificate. In your documentation, it's writen that in this case (from NowSMS to provider) certificate are not need. It's a public certificate to help identify the service provider When trying to connect to the provider (so without adding the certificate) we have a ESME_RINVPASSWD error Thanks for your help, | |||

Thanks for the follow-up. Indeed, if the error text references an ESME_xxx error, then this indicates that an error was returned at the SMPP protocol level. SSL/TLS will have already been negotiated successfully before reaching this point. Regards, Des NowSMS Support | |||
