We have been receiving reports about the NowSMS Android Modem app refusing to connect on many newer Android Devices, mostly Android versions 11 and 12. Reports in the NowSMS server log files will show the device trying to connect to the server, but report "Authentication Failed". An update to the Android app is available to fix this problem (version 2022.07.28), and the APK file can be downloaded at https://nowsms.com/apkdev Please note that it may be necessary to remove the earlier version from the device in order to install this updated version. -- Des NowSMS Support | |||
