I can't seem to get the gateway to work. Either I don't have what is needed to set it up properly or I can't figure it out. Is there just a page where I can send a sample wappush instead of trying to get this gateway configured. | |||

What have you tried? Do you have an SMS service provider (or a GSM modem/phone) connected to the gateway? (We are not an SMS service provider.) The Now SMS/MMS Gateway requires a connection to an SMSC (Short Messaging Service Centre) to interface with SMS and MMS networks. An SMSC connection can consist of one or more of the following: GSM Modem A GSM modem or phone connected to a PC serial port (or to a USB port with an appropriate modem driver). SMPP (Short Message Peer to Peer Protocol) A TCP/IP connection over the internet or a private network to a service that supports v3.3 or v3.4 of the SMPP protocol. UCP/EMI (Universal Computer Protocol / External Machine Interface) A TCP/IP connection over the internet or a private network to a service that supports v3.5 or v4.0 of the UCP/EMI protocol. HTTP (Hyper Text Transport Protocol, e.g., the standard protocol for the “web”) A TCP/IP connection over the internet or private network to a service that accepts SMS messages via an HTTP “GET” based protocol. (This protocol allows you to chain multiple Now SMS/MMS Gateways together.) | |||
