Todd, We had someone with a Sierra Wireless Aircard 750 contact us for support this past week ... which I assume is closely related to the 710. They couldn't get it working configuring the gateway to connect directly to COM1, but I advised them to go into the Windows Control Panel, Phone and Modem Options, and go into the Modems area to add a modem. Don't let Windows detect your modem, tell it you want to pick from a list, then select the "Standard 9600 bps modem" or "Generic 9600 bps modem". After it is added, go into Properties/Diagnostics and query the modem to make sure it is communicating properly with the system. Then go back to NowSMS, and select the name of the modem driver instead of the COM port, and it should work properly. -bn | |||
