Anyone know how can we determine the speed of sending/receiving SMS for a particular GSM Modem or Mobile Phone? | |||

Hi Sandy, Unfortunately the only way that I'm aware of is to try it. When I test a modem with NowSMS, I usually disconnect the modem first. Then I queue up a number of messages through the web interface. Then I reconnect the modem and measure the time between the first and last of the queued messages being sent. (When you disconnect the modem, the longer it is disconnected, the less frequently NowSMS tries to reactivate it ... so it may take a couple of minutes after you reconnect the modem for the first message to go out.) -bn | |||
