when i send WAP OTA settings for GPRS/WAP to phone, it sometimes drop the request and shows nothing; BUT apperantly it receives some data as its blinker shows its download activity; can you please guide me in this regard.... | |||

Is the receiving phone a SonyEricsson? If so, our v4.20 release used some formatting that most SonyEricsson phones did not like. (Update to v5.0, or download the v4.20a update at http://www.nowsms.com/download/nowsms420a.exe.) Another problem if you have multiple SMSCs defined, and the multiple parts of the OTA are routed via different SMSC paths. We will be releasing an update to fix this problem very soon. Also, I've noticed that SonyEricsson phones can enter a confused state where they are no longer able to receive OTA. If you experience a problem with OTA not received on one of those phones, turn the phone off, remove the battery for a few seconds ... then turn the phone back on, and it should be able to receive OTA again. (Why these phones enter a confused state is not known ... but I have observed it on a number of occasions with T68i's.) If this doesn't help, let me know what the recipient device is, and tell me about your SMSC connection. -bn | |||
