Is there any way to know if the message is not being sent or does the NowSMS automatically retry the sending of SMS if it fails

If the SMSC rejects the message (or the SMSC is down), then NowSMS retries the message 10 times.

The SMSOUT-yyyymmdd.LOG file will report messages that were successfully dispatched to the SMSC (OK status), as well as those that were rejected (ERROR status), and retries (Retry status).

Unfortunately, the gateway can't control the retry policy of the SMSC that is delivering the message.

In other word the log file will be logging the information. But is there any small translator that could translate the information to export the file automatically? or do you have the log file structure which can be worked on? Thanks

Simon,

We don't have a translator, but the log file is pretty straightforward.

If you get stuck, e-mail me at nowsms@now.co.uk, and I'll try to dig up some more information.
