I am wiriting an application that reads a database and send a message to a Nokia mobile phone with a microbrowser. I am confused as to which of the SMSC connection types is the correct one to set up for the gateway. Have you any suggestions? | |||

Your SMS service provider would tell you which protocol to use (and the settings). Or you could use a GSM modem. NowSMS is not a bulk SMS service provider, and it is not a replacement for an SMS service provider. In order to send any SMS or MMS messages with NowSMS, you must either have an account with an SMS service provider, or a GSM modem. The Now SMS/MMS Gateway is a middleware tool for SMS, not a replacement for an SMS service provider.
