Hello, I tried to install a second Teltonika TModem USB on my PC but Windows doesn't recognize that second modem. Is there a way to install multiple modems of the same model on a PC? Thanks. | |||

Hi Egan, Generally speaking, it's not a problem to add multiple modems of the same model on a PC. Usually, the second instance just ends up with the same name, but a "#2" appended to it. But, how this works can be dependent on the drivers from the manufacturer, especially with regard to USB where the driver needs to perform COM port virtualisation. You might need to check with the modem manufacturer. Maybe they have an updated modem driver that supports multiple instances of the modem (if indeed it is a problem with the current driver). -bn | |||
