Hello..For a year now I have been using one of the older cingular SIM cards with a SE T610(pre Cingular/ATT Merge).

I have noticed recently that I cannot send WAP Push messages to the newer Cingular 64k SIM cards.

Even when I put one of the 64k SIM cards in the T610 I still can not send to another 64K SIM card.

Has anybody else had any issues like this?

Hi James,

It may be an issue of what they call "Cingular Orange" vs. "Cingular Blue" (the latter being old AT&T Wireless). At some layers, these are still separate networks, and perhaps the SMS link between them does not support binary SMS.

That said, it is odd that the new SIM can't send a binary SMS to a SIM on the same network.

Try editing SMSGW.INI, and under the [SMSGW] header, add BinaryDCS=4. Then restart the NowSMS services. Perhaps that will make a difference?
