hi, i have NOWSMS 4.1.1 installed & after a period a time, nowsms loses connection with the gsm modem so much I wonder what is wrong, yet the modem is on. Each time this happens i usually test the connection with NOWSMS & the gsmmodem & everything picks up again. With the debug log d error is usually AT+CGML error i need 2 pls know what i can do? | |||

I'd be curious to see more of the debug log. And I'd also be curious what type of GSM modem this is. I do recall an issue that we've changed since v4.11, where if GSM modem had an AT+CGML related error, we now force the modem to be re-initialised (which is what is happening when you use the "Test Modem" button). So downloading the v5.0 update and updating to that version would be a good idea. The v5.0 trial download can be used to upgrade an existing installation. | |||
