I'm using the trial version of NowSMS 2006. However, one text message is being resent more than 20 times with error code 500.It looks like the RetryMaxAttemps does not work because although I did not specify it in the smsgw.ini, it should reject the message once it reach 20 times (the default value). I'm using GSM modem with HTTP connection to the SMSC. Pls advise as this really affects the delivery of other SMS and considering that NowSMS sends it a hundred times in the last 8 hours! Also, does the trial version somehow affects this problem? I thought the trial version is a full version of NowSMS except that it is limited to 60days only. | |||

Hi, Is this HTTP error code 500, or GSM modem CMS error code 500? If you are using a version of NowSMS prior to 2006, then we did retry indefinitely if an HTTP SMSC connection returns a 500 series error. But NowSMS 2006 uses standard retry logic for this situation. The other question would be why the error 500 is being returned if the message is actually being accepted. -bn | |||
