Beside Multitech, do you know what CDMA modem brand could be used with NowSMS ? In my country, there is Netac, ZTE and Growell. Any of this modem could be used ? Or you may want to recommend other brand ? | |||

The Multitech one is the only one that I am aware of. If you have technical information ("AT Command Reference") for any of those modems, we could review it. Basically, what we look for is the modem to emulate at least some of the AT commands for sending/receiving SMS that have been standardised in the GSM environment (especially AT+CSMS and AT+CMGS). Unfortunately, there is not a similar standard defined in the CDMA specifications. That is why Multitech has implemented a subset of the GSM modem commands in the CDMA environment. (I believe Multitech uses a chipset from Wavecom for this, so there may be other manufacturers who also use this same chipset from Wavecom.) -bn | |||
