After reading the Discussion Board I found out that I was not the only one that was having problem receiving/sending characters like "Ü ü Ö ö Ä ä ß é" and as the message on the forum says that they are on the GSM character set http://www.csoft.co.uk/character_sets/gsm.htm Bryce what could be the problem I have a SMPP connection over TCP/IP. and I have sent the message from the web-interface. Remember I don't want to send the message as a Unicode Is there a solution available for that or any other work-around | |||

Hi, I assume that you are the person posting at the following thread: http://support.nowsms.com/discus/messages/1/953.html If so, let's try to avoid having multiple discussion threads on the same problem/issue. I'm going to reply on that thread. I apologise that I got way behind replying to discussion board messages this week. Despite what you say, I do not believe that there is not a general problem sending these characters. I suspect there is something specific to your service provider. However, let's discuss it on the other thread since you have already posted more detail there. | |||
