Hi,

I have the nowsms server running and I can send SMS through the T68i. However, end goal is to use this for MMS demos we have planned. When I try to send a WAP Push the phone I am using as the modem catches the message and shows it as originating from the phone number it should originally been sent to. Is this due to the T68i supporting push? I turned push off with no effect. Looking at the documentation it mentions problems with the phone intercepting inbound - this I can understand, but outbound?

Any assistance appreciated...if any one has can confirm what modem they are using for full MMS cpability I would be grateful to know.

Thanks...

Stuart

Stuart,

I'm sorry, but I'm completely confused by your message.

I use a T68i as a modem regularly with NowSMS from my test machine.

The only problem I have is that I cannot receive an MMS message through this phone. But there is no problem sending them.

I'd probably need to see a debug log in order to understand what exactly you're doing, and what's going on.

To enable the debug log in the SMS Gateway component, manually edit SMSGW.INI, and add Debug=Yes under the [SMSGW] section header. Restart the gateway.

Then, repeat your sending of messages ... preferably one text message followed by a WAP push message.

And e-mail SMSDEBUG.LOG to nowsms@now.co.uk, so that we can take a look at it.
