I set up Forced sender address with the hope of replacing the phone number with a meaningfull name. Messages are being sent with the phone number. Could I be missing a configuration step(s)? I need help. Oladimeji Suberu | |||

Hi, Are you using a GSM modem as your SMSC connection? When you are using a GSM modem for sending SMS messages, it is not technically possible to change the sender address. The mobile operator SMSC always applies the phone number associated with the SIM card in the modem. -bn | |||
