I trying to send binary messages using a Motorola Rokr as USB modem. I need to send SMS to a custom port (i.e.: hex C350, dec 50000). I have put into User Data Header: 060504C3500000 When press Submit NowSMS displays: Message Submitted but something is wrong. The message not be delivered. In the log file apprears an error message: 2006-08-03 20:29:13,44D26CFE.req,127.0.0.1,1159770152,Retry Pending - ERROR - Modem Response (2): +CMS ERROR: 304 -- Motorola USB Modem Please helpme and sorry about my poor english... i am a "banana" argentinien man. | |||

Hi, You're not doing anything wrong. This is a bug in the GSM modem implementation in most Motorola phones...they can't send any messages that include user data header. That means you can't send most binary message types...WAP push...or EMS. Unfortunately all I can recommend is a different modem. -bn |
