If those are Windows Mobile devices, then the answer is probably No. Generally speaking, the smarter the phone, the less likely the phone is to support a full GSM modem interface. I have never encountered a Windows Mobile device that supports the GSM modem interface for sending/receiving SMS. This is not to say that this support could not be added to a Windows Mobile device, but I do not believe it is part of the reference design. Similarly, I have not seen a Blackberry device that supports a GSM modem interface for sending/recieving SMS. Symbian devices are also crippled in this regard ... Nokia Series 60 devices support sending SMS via the GSM modem interface, but not receiving (no 2-way SMS). SonyEricsson UIQ devices (P800/P900/P910/P990) do not support sending or receiving SMS via the GSM modem interface. Generally speaking, GSM modem capability is found in mid-tier devices.
