Hi, i am trying out the trial version of now sms with an smsc simulator from logica. when i try to configure the SMSC conncetion i am getting the below error: Unable to login to SMPP server with specified parameters, ERROR: Invalid username/system id and the smsc simulator says: > 07:15:37 [sys] new connection accepted 07:15:37 [] client request: (bindreq: (pdu: 44 9 0 1) sarath sarath Logica 52 (addrrang: 1 1 10*) ) 07:15:37 [] not authenticated sarath -- user not found 07:15:37 [] server response: (bindresp: (pdu: 0 80000009 f 1) ) Later tried to connect the smsc simulator with the logica's java test application (client). i am getting the same error, the keyed in values for the client application are like below: Asynchronous/Synchronnous Session? (a/s) [a] Transmitter/Receiver/Transciever (t/r/tr) [tr] IP address of SMSC [10.238.115.223] Port number [11000] Your system ID [sarath] sarath Your password [sarath] sarath Bind request (bindreq: (pdu: 0 9 0 [1]) sarath sarath Logica 52 (addrrang: 1 1 10*) ) Bind response (bindresp: (pdu: 16 80000009 f 1) ) i feel the problem is with the system ID and password, could any body suggest me what the values should i provide here & how/where i will get the same (currently i am using username & password). In NowSMS, what we refer to as "username" is what Logica refers to as "system id". It sounds like "sarath" is not defined as a user account (or system id account) in your installation of the Logica simulator. Refer to the documentation for the simulator for how to add user accounts to the simulator. (Hint: There is a file named users.txt) | |||
