We have not performed any testing in 64-bit envrionments. NowSMS is compiled as a Windows 32-bit application, so it would not take advantage of any special 64-bit features. As I understand it, the primary advantage of 64-bit environments is for applications that need large amounts of memory. NowSMS is not very memory intensive. However, NowSMS can be processor intensive if you have high speed SMS connections, especially if you have multiple high speed SMS connections. In those situations, you can benefit from dual core processors, as well as processors that support hyper-threading ... or dual core hyper threading processors. At the current time, I would invest in a system with a dual core hyper threading processor before going 64-bit. | |||
