Is there a limit for the UDH size in an smpp frame in the SMSC? Can I send a binary message with 140 octets where the UDH is 137 of it? | |||

Hi, You should be able to submit a binary message where all 140 octets are UDH. Are you experiencing a problem? Can you provide an example of what you are submitting, and preferably an SMSDEBUG.LOG/SMPPDEBUG.LOG showing the transaction. If your SMSC connection out of NowSMS is a GSM modem and you are receiving a "CMS ERROR 304" error, then you might want to try the update at http://www.nowsms.com/download/2006patch.zip which addresses some unusual UDH encoding issues with some GSM modems. -bn | |||
