Hi, I'm a heavy user of NowSMS and from my experience I found out though NowSMS supports many Phones but the best supported phones are a few. I tested many phones for my sms sending purpose but found out that the speed varies a lot depending on the device. The phones i tested are as follows:- Manufacturer----PhoneModel------Support---------Av.Speed--------MaxSpeed Nokia-----------6020------------send/receive------------6-------8 Nokia-----------6610------------send--------------------5-------7 Samsung---------D500------------send/receive------------10------12 Motorola--------Razr------------Send/receive------------11------13 I have also tested NEC e228 but it was a total crap as first it's too difficult to add and start sending sms through it also it reboots after every 5 minutes while sending sms. I would like other users of nowsms to share there experience specially in respect to speeds as if there is lower speeds it makes double the cost of the equipments. I have also found that most of the times the phones D500 and Motorola hangs or stop sending the messages then i have to restart the phone or sometimes the PC also is there any solution. Hello Nikhil I have also tried connecting Nokia 6610 and sending SMS from it , i was able to send but the speed was too slow ,i could send 1 sms per minutes . Please suggest me the settings to improve the sending speed Thanks Regards Vinit | |||

What i have found from my experience is that nokia 6610 is not ideal for sending sms through pc i got about 5-6 sms/minute this speed also depends upon service provider and also how much connectible u are if u are in a confined place then the speed will be low from the speed u get maximum. moto razr was a good substitute as the speed was 10-13 and also connection cable was easy to set up, the only problem i got was with most of the mobiles is that they get hang when someone calls back on the same number while sending sms and this was very troublesome. As for my email-id I'll PM u.Never give your e-mail id on public open forums as they attract spammers.edit your previous post and remove your id. Nikhil | |||
