Hi,

I need help about SMPP connection to SMSC , After i input Host IP address, Port , User name and Password assign by operator I got this windows message : "Unable to loggin to SMPP server. ERROR : Bind Failed

Service provider is saying his SMPP server needs dynamic address range support. He gave address range as .

I set the address range as . But I am getting the above error.

How to set the dynamic address range in NowSMS?

Please find attached the NowSMS log files

Service provider is using HUGHES SOFTWARE SYSTEMS
SMPP server version 3.4

Hi Sathya,

We've been discussing this problem via e-mail.

I just wanted to make a note here to indicate that NowSMS has a bug in handling the SMPP "Address Range" parameter. Although the configuration settings allow an "Address Range" to be defined, this is not actually passed to the SMPP server.

This will be fixed in v5.01 and later releases.
