Hi, I tried to send a long SMS which is more than 160 characters. NowSMS received the data and the user header but when my SMPP client received the two DeliverSM, it looked like the sar_msg_ref_num, sar_total_segments and sar_segment_seqnum were not set correctly. Hi Leon, NowSMS can be configured to use those optional TLV parameter values when making an outbound connection to an SMSC. Under "Advanced Settings" for the SMPP connection, you need to check "Use TLV parameters for port numbers and segmentation". However, there is no option for using these TLV parameters when routing a message to an SMPP client connection. Instead, an SMPP client will always receive these values encoded in GSM UDH format. (An SMPP client can submit messages to NowSMS using these TLV, and they will be supported.) -- Malcolm Now Wireless Support | |||
