Hi,

I have a problem when trying to send WAP PUSH messages via NowSMS2006.

Modem is a Vodafone Mobile Connect Card, which I read, made some trouble in the past.

I get a CMS 500 response which does not give me much indication what is wrong with the PDU.

Also I tried every possible combination of setting SMSC manually, setting to GSM a.s.o. like given in
http://support.nowsms.com/discus/messages/1/3722.html

Standard SMS work fine.

Please find attached the SMS Debug log.

BR,
Dominique Parolin

Hi Dominique,

Your log only shows the failing attempts when trying to send the WAP push messages.

I would be curious to see a log that also shows successfully sent text messages.

But assuming that you are correct that text messages are consistently sent ok, then let's see if you have a problem with all binary messages, or just WAP push messages.

Try sending a long text message, which is going to force the message to contain some UDH (user data header). Does that work?

If it does, then try editing SMSGW.INI, and under the [SMSGW] header, add BinaryDCS=4. Restart the NowSMS service after making that change, and try sending another WAP push message. Does that make a difference?
