Can NOW SMS send the DLR's or write log to any other server, either using an HTTP or ftp upload?

It depends. You can use a 2-way command to route all messages with a command prefix of "id:*" (which would capture DLRs) to a particular 2-way command. This would allow you to post them via HTTP to another server. However, if the messages were originally submitted to NowSMS via SMPP, NowSMS will try to route the delivery receipts back to the submitting SMPP client, bypassing the 2-way command logic. Another alternative, it is possible to redirect the NowSMS logs to another directory (LogDirectory=path under [SMSGW] in SMSGW.INI). This path can point to another server (\server\path\). Our engineering team is currently working to add a generic HTTP accounting callback for SMS delivery receipts ... hopefully we will see that in the near future, but unfortunately it is not available now. -- Malcolm Now Wireless Support

Hi Malcolm Would like to make few suggestions on this. It would be also great to have a link on the web interface where useraccount can check the sms they have sent and the respective delivery reports. Currently nowsms stores day wise text files of the sms sent and the delivery reports in the same file. It would be great if they can be displayed in the web interface. Regards Sam |
