Hi:

Where in NowSMS can I configure the VAS URL ?

Generally, one VASP, which has username/password in the gateway, can have multiple VASP associated with it (each with unique URL)

Scenario:
I want my user to send MMS short code to NowSMS and that message to be routed to appropriate VAS account via SOAP/HTTP. How do I enable this ?

Hi,

It depends on the direction of the connection.

If a VASP is submitting to your NowSMS server, then you need to configure an "MMSC VASP" definition. The URL to which the VASP submits to your NowSMS server is http://server:mmscHttpPort/mm7/accountname=password

mmscHttpPort is the "HTTP Port" number configured on the "MMSC" page of the NowSMS configuration dialog.

accountName and password are the account name and password defined for the "MMSC VASP" account.

(Alternatively, instead of putting the account name and password in the URL, the VASP can post to /mm7 and use HTTP basic authentication to supply the account credentials.)

If you are routing a message to a VASP, then you need to define an "MMSC Routing" definition for the VASP in NowSMS. The URL for connecting to the VASP is configured as the "Server Address" in this configuration.

(If the VASP is both sending and receiving, then you need to define both an "MMSC VASP" and "MMSC Routing" definition.)
