I'm trying to send OMA OTA settings for a Razr V3xx using the "Send OMA OTA Settings" page and getting nowhere. It seems that the message is sent because I see this in the logs (phonenumber and IP blanked out for privacy reasons):

2007-06-07 11:29:52,SAR-xxxxxxxxxx-88-2-1.req,xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx,xxxxxxxxxx,OK

On the receiving end, if I don't check the OTA UserPIN I've got a "Update Failed: Contact Sender" error, and when I enter a UserPIN I get "PIN incorrect: try again".

Hi,

The RAZR definitely requires a PIN.

What value are you trying to use as a PIN? I don't think the specs define any standard for what is expected, but I usually use a 4 digit PIN for my own tests.

Have you tried any other phones? I have one past report of a similar problem, and the problem turned out to be SMSC related.

As a test, try sending a simple "WAP Push" message, but include a lot of text in the "Text" field of the push ... at least 140 characters so that it is sure to force the message to 2 parts. Does the phone see the WAP Push correctly, and see all of the characters in the push text?
