I have changed the locally chached UA profile for my device (held on my NowMMS server) to contain the following mime type "video/*" to me this would mean pass every video format to my device. however when I send a MMS message to the device that contains a mime type of video/x-aa-bbb the NowMMS server strips out the media, unless I explicitly add the video/x-aa-bbb mime type ? does the NowMMS server support wildcards within the UAProfile ? | |||

Hi, I can confirm that we don't support any wildcards in the UAProf parsing. I'll put that on our change request log, but unless there's a real UAProf with that MIME type specified, I'm not sure whether or not we'll rush to get that into the next release. -bn | |||

A follow-up. We are implementing support for MIME type wildcards in the UAProf (other than */*) in the next release of the Now SMS/MMS Gateway. I don't have an estimated release date on the next release (post v4.11 release) yet, but we plan to make a beta available on the web site prior to general release, so stay tuned. -bn | |||
