Is there a way to get a list of Phones and modems supported by the gateway? It would be very useful. Thanks! | |||

Hi, I assume that you're talking about for use as a GSM modem. Indeed that would be quite useful. Unfortunately, there are so many different models out there, and most manufacturers want us to buy the phones in order to test them, so most of the feedback comes from end users. I can tell you that I've personally used a SonyEricsson T68i, Ericsson T68, Ericsson R520 and Ericsson R380 (R380 has problems receiving long SMS). I've also personally used a Nokia 6210 and 7110, an old Nokia Card Phone 2.0 (PCMCIA card), as well as a Wavecom Fastrack external modem. I've had dialogs with users who are using the Panasonic GD87, as well as a variety of different Nokia and Ericsson phones, unfortunately, I haven't kept track of them all. On the dedicated modem front, I've seen people using the Sierra Wireless Aircard 710 and 750. Another user had the Novatel G100 and had a very odd problem where the configuration software could test the modem ok, but the gateway itself would fail talking to the modem ... until | |||
