I have downloaded your product but I cannot add a COM1 connection to a wavecom modem.

Do you know if there is any special feature for making these sort of modems work with your application?

Thank you very much in advance

Are you getting a "modem initialization error" when you attempt to add the Wavecom modem on COM1?

If so, then I'd suggest you go into the Windows Control Panel. Select "Phone and Modem Options". Go to the "Modems" area of the dialog.

Select "Add", and then tell Windows that you do not want it to detect your modem, and that you will pick the modem from a list. Choose either the "Standard 9600 bps Modem" or the "Generic 9600 bps Modem", and install that driver for the COM port to which the Wavecom modem is attached.

After installing the modem driver, still in the Modems area of the Control Panel, select "Properties" for the modem driver, then choose "Diagnostics", and "Query Modem". Basically, this is just to make sure that the modem driver is configured properly and that Windows can talk to the modem using the driver settings.

Assuming that all works properly, return to NowSMS, and tell it that you want to add a GSM modem, but instead of a COM port, select the named modem driver that you just configured.

That should work without any problems!
