In our country in Central America the GSM service is not fully deployed yet. We do have GSM but the SMS service only works well over the older TDMA network. We are trying to develop an SMS solution over TDMA and that’s why we are looking for TDMA phones with built-in modem (or standalone modems) to use with SMS/MMS Gateway. So far I've only found siemens s46 (works on both TDMA and GSM and has built in modem) but I'm not sure if it will work. Anyone knows any other phone or modem that fit my needs? Thanks. | |||

To be honest, I don't know much about SMS in the TDMA environment, so you might need to do some exploring. I'd be curious if you find a solution. -bn | |||
