Hi there, I was downloading your tool to test how to send WAP Bookmark OTA but now i have ended up no where because i dont know how to make it work. Let me put my exact requirement I shld be able to sent the Mobile customer a WAP book mark with a Sms telling him that he can download the stuff that he ordered from this link. | |||

Hi George, The WAP Bookmark format is only supported by very few mobile phones. In fact, it is mostly only Nokia phones that support this format. What you want to do is not to send a bookmark, but you want to send a WAP push message that has a pointer to your URL. That is quite easy to do with the Now SMS/MMS Gateway. Once you have an SMS connection to a service provider (or a GSM modem) setup for the gateway, there is a menu option in the web interface for generating a WAP push. Of course, in addition to generating the request through this web menu interface, you can also generate an HTTP request from your application to the gateway directly to tell the gateway to send out a WAP push for a particular URL. -bn | |||
