In the directory MMSDATA are stored files that are sent through the gateway NowSMS, but can not be opened, its extension is .MMS as I can do to see it.

Those are MMS messages formatted according to the MMS Encapsulation Protocol format (OMA-MMS-ENC).

You would need a client that understands the MMS format to actually open one of those files.

I don't regularly use any PC based tools to access these files. I do seem to remember being able to open them in the Nokia Mobile Internet Toolkit in the past ... but overall I'm not a big fan of that toolkit. I just recall that at one time in the past I had installed a version and it associated itself with all ".mms" extension files.

What are you trying to do? Maybe I can suggest an alternative approach. The MMSCDATA directory is for messages that are in transit to a client, it's not really designed as a place to interact with messages, other than perhaps when debugging client interoperability issues.

I need send a copy of the MMS files to other external server or allow access in the directory of NowSMS Gateway where they can work this files, for a photoalbum services.
