Hi there ! Am using Now SMS Gateway v2006.10.31 with a GSM modem ! I have confirgured 2-way Process Received SMS Messages as follows :- SMS command Prefix:- * Receive Phone Number:- Command to Execute :- http://58.68.117.35:81/MSMRegistration/RegisterApplications.aspx?sender=@@SENDER@@&message=@@FULLSMS@@ In the SMSC Connections I have added Generic GPRS Wireless modem #3 & also enabled "Receive SMS Messages" with SMS Access as "DEFAULT" by clicking the above modem's properties now the problem is that the "NOW SMS " software is unable to receive the SMS through GPRS modem where as it is able to send the SMS to the phNo provided For Eg:- When I manually HIT the URL like below :- http://58.68.117.35:81/msmregistration/registerapplications.aspx?sender=91234567 81&message=MSM 1.0 @123456789123456@1710419043829 I am getting the sms to 9123456781 But when I send SMS from 9123456781 to gprs modem (Now SMS software), it is not hitting my page i.e http://58.68.117.35:81/MSMRegistration/RegisterApplications.aspx?sender=@@SENDER@@&message=@@FULLSMS@@ Why is the Now-SMS software not receiving the SMS sent to the modem directly ??? And also how do I check if I have received the SMS in wireless GPRS Modem (thru Now-SMS Gateway Software ) Thanks! Nitin | |||

Hey guys ! The problem is solved ! I tried each and every way to find out the solution to this problem.. and then while testing, I found out that my sms sent to the Generic GPRS card would stay pending .. It was not reaching to the SIM present in Generic GPRS card because the SIM was out of free space to receive any more sms from outside ! Then I deleted the SMS inside Generic GPRS card and then my problem got solved Everything worked fine after that !  | |||

Nokia S60 (Series 60) phones do not support receiving messages via the GSM modem interface. You can only use NowSMS to send SMS or MMS messages using a Nokia S60 phone as a GSM modem. Basically, these phones have a limited implementation of the SMS related AT commands. -- Des NowSMS Support | |||
