Hi,

Lets say I configured Nowsms as SMPP server , and I have 50 users connecting to my SMPP server.

I receive the messages and forward them to my local HTTP url for processing.

In this HTTP url , how can I capture the username which is used to connect to SMPP server?

I need this username to know who is sending messages and based on that I use special routing , pricing , etc..

This option was not available in old versions , is it added to new one or not yet?

Thanks

Hi,

If you need this information, you can include @@SubmitUser@@ in your HTTP URL template.

It may not be in there.

It is in the readme for a 2006-05-10 update:

* HTTP SMSC: Add support for @@SubmitUser@@ and @@SubmitPassword@@ replacement parameters. These parameters can contain the original user id/password of the account that submitted the message to NowSMS. (Updated SMSGWS.EXE)

Basically, this was a feature added in response to a specific customer request.
