Hi,
I have Samsung U700 GSM. Can it work great with NowSMS?
I tried to use U700 but it doesn't work. My Computer read it as SAMSUNG CDMA MODEM..

I want to buy LG KG 200 to alternate if U700 doesn't work. can LG KG 200 work with NOWSMS?

Thx..

Hi,

If it is a GSM phone, then it is very strange that the driver would indicate that it is a CDMA modem.

Is it possible that maybe you have the wrong modem driver for the phone?

Some Samsung GSM phones do have GSM modem capability. When you try to test it with NowSMS, what happens?

Unfortunately, I don't have any other information about the U700 ... and Samsung does not have detailed technical information available on the web, which other manufacturers do for their devices.

I have installed the usb driver and samsung pc studio that include from U700 package.
Samsung pc studio support feature like sms gateway too. Its features are working great.

When i try to add the modem in nowsms :

Then I found the default password for U700. The password is 8 0s (00000000). But Modem PIN input column support only 6 characters.

Thx..

What if you remove the modem PIN so that it is not required?

What error happens when you press the "Test and Add Modem" button?
