It appears that I am getting the request in to the NowSMS server as shown in the SMS IN logs....but the SMS out logs show an Unknown Error 0x00000422 and keeps wanting to retry.....what is causing this? Hi, That is a provider specific error code. We should probably change the text to see "Provider Specific" instead of "Unknown" to avoid some confusion. Unfortunately, since this is provider specific, we don't know what the error code means for that particular provider. SMPP defines a range of error codes where providers can add their own error codes. If, by chance, the provider is mBlox, this code is defined in their documentation as "Destination please try again" (that is literally what it says in the documentation, we don't have any further information on what it means). This code would mean something else on other providers, because it is provider specific. If you need to adjust the SMPP retry error handling, there is information here: http://blog.nowsms.com/2007/06/smpp-error-code-handling-in-nowsms.html It sounds like this is a temporary error where mBlox is saying to try again later, so that is what NowSMS is doing.
