I have been tried a lot that when user submit a sms ,the sender name should be submited with sms. Below the detail of my form.. Phone Number: _______________ Sender : _______________("Send" textbox) SMS : _______________ Words Count : _______________ Submit the name of sender textbox id "Sender" when user submit sms the sender name is reflected in "que sms" but it delivered without sender name. Anyone plz let me know that how Can I do this. I want also make sender name mandatory. Plz Plz reply me earliest. Below is the attached form.

Hi, NowSMS looks for the "Sender" variable in a message submission. It looks like your form is configured correctly to include this variable. However, there are several that can prevent the sender address from actually being used: 1.) If you are using a GSM modem for sending messages, then it is not technically possible to override the sender address ... it will always show as the phone number associated with the SIM card in the modem. 2.) For other SMSC connection types, you must be authorised with your provider to allow the sender address that you are trying to use (your provider may restrict what sender addresses are allowed). 3.) In the SMSC definition within NowSMS, "Allow Sender Address Override" MUST be checked, otherwise the "Default Sender Address" value will always be used. -- Des NowSMS Support | ||||
