Hi Danny,

I don't know enough about your configuration ... but my question would be ... what is generating those messages?

NowSMS doesn't generate messages ... something has to submit them.

Putting quotas on user accounts that connect to NowSMS (and daily/monthly limits) can help prevent problems.

Also, the e-mail alert function does have support for notifications when a queue size exceeds a configured threshold ... that can be real handy for notifying of a major problem.

Hi Des its a person going to my sms sending page and purposely re-loading the page after they get the sent confirmation this results in alot of sms being sent to the same person! This is being done to flood a persons inbox on their mobile with sms (depending on how many times they reload the page). Is this something that can be controlled within the programme directly (only allowing an sms to be sent every 30 seconds or similar?) or preventing the same message being sent over and over again, or is this something i should control in the way of html/php coding? Thanks again

Hi Danny,

I'd have to suggest putting quotas on accounts.

You can put a hard quota on the number of messages allowed, and there are also daily and monthly limits (no hourly or per minute limits).

u could simply code the php such a way to send the confirmation only once and flag such a value in mysql or something that indicates a confirmation code already being sent
