I use a GSM mobile phone as a modem of the gateway. I sent a mms using web interface and the MMSC was able to receive the mms. However, the destined mobile phone (actually it is the one I used as a modem of the gateway) could receive neither the mms nor the mms notification. I check the SMSDEBUG.log and found that: ------------------------------------------------- RetrieveURL: Retrieving 20030502/03/3EB172CAa.MMS RetrieveURL: got success response RetrieveURL: application/vnd.wap.mms-message RetrieveURL: timeout waiting for response ------------------------------------------------- Would you tell me what is the possible reason I couldn't receive the mms? BTW, if I use a mobile phone to send out a mms and at the same time I use it as a modem of the gateway and also receive the mms, will it cause a problem? Thanks!!! | |||

Hi Jane, Take a look at the "NowSMS Install Guide" link that gets installed along with the gateway (or view on-line at this link: http://www.nowsms.com/Getting%20Started.htm). Focus on step #3 first ... can you send an SMS message through the gateway to the destination phone? If yes, then can you send a WAP push to the destination phone? Step #5 also talks about some of the MMS issues. Give that information a look, and if you need further clarification based on that info, let me know! -bn | |||
