Hi, The smsgsw.exe eats-up all the available memory and the memory utilisation keeps going up and up. As a result one needs to stop and restart the service every 12 hrs or so else MMS messages do not get processed. Kindly help ASAP as this is a mojor customer service issue. | |||

Hi, There is a memory leak that occurs in current versions of the Now SMS/MMS Gateway when processing inbound SMS messages (2-way configuration). The leak occurs if the "2-way command" is an HTTP command, and the HTTP command returns either an error response or a redirect response. We've had an interim release that we've made available to people who reported a problem to us directly. (I believe you already have contacted us directly to get an update.) For anyone else who might be experiencing this problem with v4.11 of the Now SMS/MMS Gateway, we will be placing the v4.20 update on to the web site over the next 48-72 hours. Or e-mail nowsms@now.co.uk. -bn |
