Hi guys, Im trying to setup 2 smpp acounts with the same service provider for different phone numbers - xxxx and yyyy.
The paramaters are exactly the same, only the account user name, password and ofcourse the
sender address is different.
The problem, every time I add the second account, the first/old is replaced by the new one.
I have traced this problem to the fact that the new smpp connection will have the same name taken from the Server Host Name:Port as the new smpp connection. In effect, this replaces the old entry in SMSGW.INI.
So, the entry in SMSGW.INI gets replaced by the new account details.
The server host name is an actual IP that is mapped once I establish a VPN connection with the service provider.

Is there a work around for this problem? or am I missing something in the settings?

Surely NowSMS is using the host name as the 'label' that identifies a connection, so you cannot use two connections with the same name. A temporal solution may be adding another name in the hosts file of the machine using NowSMS, pointing to the same server

i.e.: If your is at and that points to you can add in your host file:

and from that very moment you can access also as

Of course this is only a trick and you can have problems if your provider changes the ip address of his smpp server, so I suggest NowSMS to avoid this behaviour of the SMPP servers configuration in the future.
