When 2-way MMS is enabled, all I/C MMS are being processed as 2-way MMS, right?

Is there a way that only MMS matching a certain criteria (e.g the first word of the MMS text just like 2-way SMS, or better, the recipient's MSISDN) be processed as 2-way MMS?
If the SMSC could match the recipient's MSISDN with specific nb (or a range of nbs, or several discrete nbs), this would be a good added value. Users could for instance send MMS to a short code nb (like 123) in order to post pictures on a web site...

Thanks!

Matt,

Unfortunately you'd have to do that in at an application level. As I mentioned over in the wish list area, we've got a lot of new stuff coming on the MMS side in the next release (hopefully out to beta in the next couple of weeks, but I've been saying that for a couple of weeks already).

But it would still require some application logic. It's just a lot more awkward to transfer MMS message data than it is to transfer a simple SMS text message.

As it currently stands with the next release, there is flexible outbound MMS routing via different protocols ... but the inbound MMS routing is currently fixed. We should be able to revisit that after we get this release out ... initially we're going to be focused on testing to make sure that our additional protocol implementations are correct.
